Light based 3D scanners, such as the Artec3D handheld models, cannot easily scan transparent, reflective chrome finished parts, as the light passed through them. There are many solutions, however, AESUB Blue provides incredible results easily and safely.
Easily apply a very fine consistently even coating of 8 to 15 microns to the surface's to be scanned. Now scan your parts with resulting clean data. Leave them for a couple of hours and the spray evaporates without leaving any residue. Unlike some other sprays AESUB Blue does not contain pigments and thus avoids contamination.
There are other version's like AESUB Orange, stays on longer before evaporation, AESUB Green for large spray gun applications and AESUB White that you have to clean off yourself.
